Each of these pieces is hand made and uniquely one of a kind. Each inidividual "chinese key" is formed by hand , then scored , slipped, and hand applied. This process takes over 8 hours to complete. The finished work is then demoisturized over several days. It is then fired to bisque, hand glazed , and then high fired to achieve its' lustrous finish.
