Each of these pieces is hand made and uniquely one of a kind. Individual clay columns are carefully made by hand, then scored and slipped to form the large lantern structure. The shell and stand are hand made and score and slipped into place. The finished work is then demoisturized over several days. It is then fired to bisque, hand glazed and then high fired to achieve its' final lustrous finish.
